Command Syntax


TrainNum Location-Waypoint-Destination /Wait [*|=|#|X]
  • TrainNumber is numeric value of 3 or 4 digits.
      If omitted, train number from last command is used.

  • Location is current location of train.
    • May be station abbreviation or numeric milepost times 100
    • If omitted, existing location is used.
    • If no destination is specified, train's current location is updated.

  • Waypoint is intermediate location used to control routing
    • May specify zero or more waypoints.

  • Destination is final destination of train.

  • Wait is a location where train will be held from proceeding.
    • Train will enter "Stopped" state when this location is reached.
    • Slash with no wait location will clear the wait location

  • State Control
    • * Stopped blocking track. Tag will not move, displayed on track.
    • # Stopped off of main. Tag will not move, displayed to side of track
    • = Moving. Tag moves as time elapses.
    • + Advance. Tag will be advanced one milepost immediately.
    • X Delete. Remove train from map.

  • All spaces between commands are optional.

  • Examples:
    • 123 CS-DW Route train 123 from Central Station to Dogwalk
      123 CS-KW-DW Route from Central Station thru KW to Dogwalk
      123 CS-NI-BM-DW Route from Central Station to Dogwalk via 2% solution
      123 CM-CM Set current location at Cottonmouth with no route
      123 -RA Extend existing route to Red Ant Jct
      123 BJ Set current location to Benjie
      123 664 Set current location to milepost 6.64 (Dogwalk crossing)
      123 /DW Hold train at Dogwalk
      123 / Remove hold on train
      123 = Set train moving after being stopped or held
      123 * Stop train
      123 # Stop train and move off of main (at siding typically)
      123 X Delete train from system
